How to calculate a personal year
Add the digits of your birth day and month and the chosen year , then reduce the total to a single digit.
Example: a birthday on 14 March, calculated for 2026. Add 1+4 (day) + 3 (month) + 2+0+2+6 (year) = 18. Reduce: 1+8 = 9. The result is nine, traditionally associated with completion.
Timing conventions differ: the calendar method starts on 1 January, while another tradition starts on your birthday. The calculator here uses the selected calendar year; keep that method consistent when comparing results.
